Seriously, if you havent already heard Decrepitus I suggest you do, it's amazing. The final outcome of Rex Imbecilic is astounding and not what I expected. Behaviour and Voice Music present REX IMBECILIC Full length 2023. Produced and Mixed by the extraordinary Victor Hugo Targino (Soturnus, Forahneo, Undercroft). In George’s words, “We’re very proud of finally releasing this album. For its meaning, we decided to re-record songs from the Demos and some Forahneo tunes that deserved more brutal versions. The idea is to re-introduce the band to those who dug the Demos in the old days, as well as introduce it to a new generation that never had any contact with us”.
About the lyrics, Eduardo Jarry explains, “With Behaviour, I always wrote about the darker side of humanity. Daily stuff, social ruin, absence of feelings, extreme egotism; resulting in psychopaths of the sickest, mass murderers, death squads, religious pedophiles, money-greedy preachers, sociopath politicians… Mankind is in complete decay and we’re the soundtrack”.
The cover art for REX IMBECILIC, was created by the iconic German artist Andreas Marschall, recognized by his work for legends of the Metal Scene, such as: Kreator, Immolation, Sodom, Obituary, among many others. About the concept, Eduardo Jarry, “In every corner of the planet, it’s not hard to identify a fake leader, a sociopath that manipulates, uses religion and the system to satisfy his greed. The outcome is usually violence and misery”.
REX IMBECILIC has three very special guests, Underground giants for real. Kam Lee (Massacre) in Trust No One, Fernanda Lira (Crypta) in the track Black the Day, and Alex Kaffer (The Troops of Doom) in Let Them Fall.
Behaviour returns to claim its place in the Brazilian Death Metal Scene. Aiming the future, respecting the legacy.
